我来自农村，父母都是朴实无华的农民。全家共四口人，父母以务农为生，家庭收入主要来源于农田收入。因为爷爷奶奶年老体弱经常生病，异常是爷爷多次住院开刀，还要供两个孩子上学，家里的经济情景比较紧张。可是农村的生活赋予我吃苦耐劳，不畏一切艰难险阻的品质。，我进行了很多的社会实践活动，包括课余时间做家教，假期期间去打工等，以此来减轻家庭负担。从这些工作中我锻炼了自我还认识了很多朋友。我从没有因为家庭困难而自卑过，我时刻告警自我：既然我不能选择我的出身，我能够把握自我的命运。
坚强的意志和不服输的精神让我在大学受益匪浅。没有土木工程学院各位教师、同学的支持和鼓励也不会有我今日的成绩。在此我要异常表示感激!当然，我深知成绩只代表过去，今后我要更加严格的要求我自我，以求有更好的表现。未来的路还很漫长也很崎岖，但我不会辜负教师和同学的期望，我会踏踏实实的一步一步的走下去

在生活中，我是一位来自偏远山区的孩子，因为家里条件不好，对生活我始终充满了信心，无怨无悔，我的大学学费是爸爸妈妈最大的负担，爸妈身体不好，有时也为医药费问题而省钱不去看医生。可怜天下父母心啊，我做儿女的一定要了解他们。我知道家里的经济情况，所以不苟求太多，课余时间不多，但我还是抽出时间爱你去做兼职，发传单、送盒饭、送货、做调查等，只要能拿到钱的多辛苦都行，目的只有一个，为父母减轻压力。我生活很有计划性，特别是生活费用，在大学，几乎很少找家里要生活费，都是靠自己做兼职辛苦得来的。正是这样的经济情况，让我想到只能认真学习再能找到一条属于自己的出路。也许这样的生活有些辛苦，但是很充实，一样幸福、快乐。我跟我同学朋友相处很好，从不封闭自己，朋友有什么需要帮助的，我也很乐意的去帮助他们，是山区的生活赋予了我吃苦耐劳的，不畏一切艰难险阻的品质。在大一军训期间，荣获“军训优秀连队”称号。我从没因为家庭困难而自卑过，自从十一年前离开父母外出求学开始，妈妈只能给我一句话“不要让人瞧不起，不要让人踩在脚底下。”这句话深深的刻在我心里。我时刻告诉自己，既然我不能选着我的出生，我可以把握我自己的命运，掌舵自己的未来，坚强的意志和不服输的精神让我在大学受益匪浅。
